Newborn sessions are best done within the first 7–14 days after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and naturally curled. During this stage, we're able to gently guide them into soft, comfortable poses while prioritising their safety at all times. For mummies observing their confinement period, sessions can be scheduled at your own pace.

Absolutely. All poses are guided with the utmost care and your baby's safety is our top priority throughout. Our photographer is experienced in newborn handling and will never rush or force a pose. You are welcome to be right by your baby's side at all times.

This is completely normal — newborns have their own timeline. We build enough flexibility into the session to allow for feeding, changing, and settling breaks. Your baby's comfort always comes first, and we'll work gently around their natural rhythm. If your baby has a specific routine for feeds or naps, do let us know during the short call before your session — we'll do our best to schedule around their usual timings, subject to availability.

All setups are styled in our signature aesthetic. Special requests, such as themed concepts or brand-inspired setups, can also be arranged under a personalised session. Prior to your session, we'll have a short call and a questionnaire to better understand your preferences and vision.

Yes — if you have specific requests for new props or clothing to be purchased for your session, this can be arranged at an additional cost and is subject to availability. Hygiene is also our top priority — all washable items such as wraps, fabrics, and outfits are thoroughly cleaned after every session, and non-washable items like wooden props, bowls, and accessories are carefully sanitised with antibacterial solutions.

Of course — personal touches make your photographs uniquely yours. Whether it's a pair of baby shoes, a meaningful keepsake, or a favourite blanket, you're welcome to bring along anything that holds significance to your family. Just let our photographer know in advance over WhatsApp so she can plan how to incorporate them beautifully into your session.

Simply add your preferred session to cart and proceed to checkout. A $100 deposit is required to confirm your booking — the remaining balance is due 3 weeks before your session date. For bookings less than 1 month before the session, full payment will be required to confirm your booking. Once your deposit is received, we'll be in touch to arrange your session date and time.

Yes, rescheduling is allowed. Kindly inform us at least 48 hours prior to the session. Rescheduling to Sundays or Public Holidays will require an additional fee of $80.

The session will be held at Joie by Joyours, 318 Tanglin Road Phoenix Park. The location is accessible by both bus and car, with parking slots available on site. 

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date.

The Mini session focuses entirely on your little one. However, if you'd love to have the whole family captured together, Msan Collective's Luxe package covers up to 4 persons across a 3-hour session. Reach out to us and we'll help you arrange it.

You won't be left to figure it out on your own. The photographer will guide you through every pose naturally — their approach is relaxed and conversational, so you'll barely feel like you're posing at all. For the Luxe package, this extends to the whole family — everyone will be guided into place comfortably and naturally.

For baby, all wraps, props and blankets are provided. If mum or family members are joining under the Luxe package, we recommend coming in outfits that feel like you — pieces you love and feel comfortable in. Our photographer is happy to advise on what works best over WhatsApp before your session.

Absolutely — for mums joining under the Luxe package, you are welcome to wear whatever makes you feel most beautiful. Our photographer is female, so you can feel completely at ease throughout the session. Please note that our studio is equipped with security cameras that cover the shoot area. If you have any concerns or are unsure about outfits, our photographer is happy to advise you over WhatsApp before your session.

We highly recommend coming to your session with makeup done — even a light, natural look makes a significant difference in how your photos turn out. If you'd like professional help, we work with a few trusted make up artists who specialises in looks that translate beautifully on camera.

Our turnaround time is 3–4 weeks. This allows us to carefully select and edit each image, ensuring consistent quality throughout your gallery. If you need your photos sooner, a rush option is available at $100 for a 5 days turnaround after shoot date.

Every session goes through a careful culling and editing process. This means we select the strongest images and remove those that do not meet our delivery standards, such as blurred shots, closed eyes, test shots, duplicates, or otherwise unflattering images.

The number of images delivered varies depending on the session type, the flow of the session, and factors such as your baby's or child's comfort and cooperation. The estimated number of images included will always be stated in the package details.

Our focus is always on quality over quantity. Every delivered image is thoughtfully selected and professionally edited to ensure you receive the very best moments from your session.

Rest assured that we aim to return all good images captured during your session, including candid moments. Once your gallery is ready, you can choose the images that resonate most with you.

If your package includes a maximum number of delivered images and there are additional photographs that still meet our delivery standards, you may request to purchase extra images. We will first provide a proof gallery of the available images for your selection. Once you have made your choices, the additional images will be edited and uploaded to your gallery within 1–2 weeks.

For example, if your package includes 50 edited images and you would like to purchase 10 additional images, you may select 10 images from the proof gallery. These 10 images will then be edited and delivered, bringing your total gallery to 60 edited images.

We don’t provide RAW files as they are unprocessed and don’t reflect our final quality and style. We deliver all the best edited images from your session, including candid in between moments. Once your gallery is ready, you can take your time to go through it and choose the photos that resonate most with you.

Newborn sessions are held in-studio for the best experience and setup — our controlled environment and professional lighting ensure your baby is comfortable and every detail is beautifully captured. Home sessions are available upon request with an additional top-up of $250. Simply reach out to us and we'll help you arrange it.
